I think their offices were located on the South Side down under the viaduct.

My dad worked at Larkin Co. until they moved to New York in 1960. I was only 6 years old, but I remember the employees had the opportunity to move with the company. It was a difficult time for our family, but I am glad my parents decided to stay in Chicora. Later that year, my mom got a job with American Hardware, and my dad got a job with Berry Metal. It all worked out well!

My father (Roy Hindman) worked at Larkin and Co. from 1926,
out of high school, till he retired at age 62. In his later years he traveled United States and Canada as the saleman for Larkin. He very much like Mr. Bill Larkin and his wife Mary and remember him talking about their 3 girls. The yellow Larkin building is a vivid memory for me.
